PUBLICATION

Patents are published in the Official Gazette following both substantive examination and the grant.

OPPOSITION

The republishing occurs 120 days after the initial publication. However, no opposition period is provided after the grant.

ANNUITIES

Annually, the fee is due on the anniversary of the international filing date and must be paid before the grant. There is a grace period of six months for late payment, with an associated surcharge, during the last three months of that period.
