Border Measures

We are highly concerned in protecting our client’s trademarks and copyrights with the Concerned Customs Authorities in the gulf regions to combat commercial fraud and counterfeiting products in the GCC.

Advantages of Customs recordal:

• receive immediate notifications from the various Customs ports on incoming suspected shipments bearing the protected IP rights;
• file confirmation on the status and nature of the shipment and request release or genuine shipments and destruction of counterfeit and unauthorized shipments;
• place requests for customs watch on certain shipments (defined by trademark, source, route of shipping, etc.)
• provide training sessions to customs officials to make them aware of its trademarks, products and commercial information.
• Participate, through the local agent, in the Customs events.
